Hello! I am a communications and marketing student at the University of Nebraska at Omaha. With a strong foundation in media production, digital storytelling, marketing strategy, and public relations, I bring a unique blend of creativity, professionalism, and small-town perspective to every project.
I hold associate degrees in Media Arts and Business Administration from Northeast Community College, where I also earned a certificate in Media Production. During my time there, I discovered a deep love for broadcasting, marketing, and communications, which inspired me to pursue hands-on opportunities across various platforms.
Currently, I serve as a Marketing Intern for Werner Enterprises in Omaha, Nebraska. In this role, I create and manage content for external social media channels reaching over 190K followers, including blog posts, copywriting, and multimedia production across transportation, technology, and business topics. I also support internal and external communications by gathering insights from key departments, such as safety and technology, to develop strategic communication plans and campaigns for diverse audiences. Additionally, I contribute to large-scale company events through planning support, on-site content capture, and industry research, helping drive new initiatives.
From Septemtember 2025 through May 2026, I served as a Marketing and Communications Intern for TeamMates Mentoring, where I created and scheduled branded social media content, wrote newsletters and blog posts, and helped develop marketing campaigns that highlight the impact of youth mentorship. This role has strengthened my skills in brand storytelling, analytics, and content strategy.
Previously, I worked as a Producer Intern for the Ag News Daily podcast, where I wrote scripts, edited video and audio, and developed strategic social media content for Instagram, YouTube, TikTok, and X. My work focused on amplifying the voices of farmers and agricultural professionals in ways that were both engaging and informative.
At News Talk WJAG and its sister stations in Norfolk, Nebraska, I served as on-air talent, sound board operator, and newsroom assistant. From delivering early-morning market reports to covering local elections, I gained real-world experience in live radio and the vital role it plays in rural communities.
At the University of Nebraska Omaha, I stay actively involved in campus media. I serve as Operations Manager for MavRadio, UNO’s student-run radio station, where I help manage broadcasts, mentor new members, and contribute to live event coverage. I’m also a member of the University Women in Media club, which connects and empowers women pursuing careers in media and communications.
Beyond broadcasting, I’ve worked as an academic tutor, sports commentator, and editor/writer for my college newspaper, The Viewpoint. I’ve also held several leadership positions, including Nebraska Future Business Leaders of America Collegiate Vice President of Communications, NE FBLA-C Vice President of Public Relations, FBLA-C Chapter President at Northeast, and FBLA-C Chapter Vice President at UNO. These experiences have helped me grow as a communicator, mentor, and collaborator.
My work has been recognized on the national stage, I’m a SkillsUSA National Champion in Video Production and a multi-time FBLA award winner in public speaking, marketing, and business communication.
Outside of work and the classroom, I enjoy watching movies, spending time with my cat, and going to concerts. I’m left-handed, a triplet, and was raised on rural property where my family raised horses, chickens, and cows.
